ARLINGTON, VA – Police caught a woman named Maryjane in Ballston who they say stole a car in Fairfax County — and they also hit her with a marijuana charge.
An officer on routine patrol within the space of N. demesne Road at N. Carlin Springs Road at around 3:27 p.m. on Tuesday “was alerted to a registration number plate Reader hit on a vehicle antecedently reportable taken out of Fairfax County,” in keeping with a report from the urban center County department of local government.
“Officers effected a traffic stop and as they attempted to make contact with the driver of the vehicle, the driver attempted to flee on foot, but was quickly taken into custody without incident,” the report states. “During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle was also wanted out of Fairfax County.”
